Peer Review Process
Ardi Academic Multidisciplinary Journal is committed to ensuring the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of every article published. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process to ensure fairness, impartiality, and academic objectivity.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who possess expertise relevant to the subject area of the manuscript. Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript’s scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, significance of findings, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
The peer review process consists of the following stages:
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's Online Journal System (OJS). Submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal’s Author Guidelines, formatting requirements, and publication ethics..
2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office conducts an initial assessment to ensure that the manuscript:
- Falls within the journal’s aims and scope.
- Complies with the journal template and formatting requirements.
- Meets minimum standards of academic writing.
- Includes complete author information and required metadata.
- Passes plagiarism screening using similarity detection software.
Manuscripts failing to meet these basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before peer review.
3. Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review stage.
The journal applies the following similarity thresholds:
- Maximum Overall Similarity Index: 25%
- Maximum Similarity from a Single Source: 5%
Manuscripts with unacceptable levels of similarity may be rejected or returned for correction.
4. Editorial Assessment
The Editor-in-Chief or assigned Handling Editor evaluates the manuscript based on:
- Originality and novelty.
- Scientific significance.
- Methodological quality.
- Ethical compliance.
- Relevance to the journal’s multidisciplinary focus.
At this stage, manuscripts may receive a desk rejection if they do not meet the journal’s standards.
5. Double-Blind Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
During this process:
- Reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors.
- Author identities remain anonymous to reviewers.
- Reviews are conducted independently.
- Reviewers evaluate manuscripts objectively and confidentially.
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:
- Originality and novelty
- Research methodology
- Literature review
- Data analysis
- Validity of results
- Discussion quality
- Scientific contribution
- Writing quality
- Ethical compliance
- Relevance to the journal
6. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept Submission
- Minor Revisions Required
- Major Revisions Required
- Resubmit for Review
- Reject Submission
The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
7. Author Revision
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to:
- Revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ comments.
- Submit a detailed response letter explaining how each comment has been addressed.
- Resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified deadline.
Failure to submit revisions within the allotted time may result in withdrawal of the manuscript.
8. Second Review (If Necessary)
For manuscripts requiring major revisions, the revised version may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation.
The editor determines whether additional review is necessary before making a final decision.
9. Final Acceptance
Once the manuscript satisfies all scientific and editorial requirements, the Editor-in-Chief issues the final acceptance decision.
Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage.
10. Copyediting and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo professional editorial processing, including:
- Language editing
- Grammar and style checking
- Reference verification
- Formatting adjustment
- Layout editing
Authors receive page proofs for final approval before publication.
11. Publication
After final approval, the manuscript is published online in the scheduled issue of Ardi Academic Multidisciplinary Journal and becomes immediately accessible under the journal’s Open Access Policy.
Each published article receives complete bibliographic information and is permanently archived.

Although the duration may vary depending on reviewer availability and manuscript revisions, the journal aims to complete the review process according to the following schedule:
